everyone is posting up links for others to read.. but i guess at this point, everyone is cracking their head to think about how to start, i guess reading the guidelines sometimes dont really help... i dont like reading... =S...
i am not sure if i am correct, but i am here to share how i write my lit review..
i started off with my topic, yes, and i state my assumption for the research, for example, i assume that the public perception towards Edison Chen changed dramatically after the sex photos of him leaked on the website.. then i find some proof to prove that my assumption is right. sadly, i did not find any.. but i found one that is opposite of my assumption, but the research was US based. so i pull in the Asian and Western cultural different to explain why the perceptions is different (ms. cheryl guided me on this).
after that, i work on my methodology, since i have two methods, i mention both of them but i only explain one of them. which is survey. because i can find something relevant to survey and not content analysis.. so i took the proofs that is related to this method, saying that to reach a mass samples, survey is indeed a good method of all..
for theory part, since i do not have any past research to rely on, i am basically using the sources to support my theory... like why does this theory do all sorts of thing...
i dunno if my lit review is correct, but i HOPE it is not wrong?
i hope what i have explained can help u guys in writing ur lit review!
do comment here to write about how u write ur lit review... i think reading from classmates' examples is always the easier way... =)
